Andersen Music Publishing was created as an additional resource for schools and community musicians to access quality percussion music. Its founder believes strongly in the power of music to bring people together, inspire the mind, and rejuvenate the soul. His hope is that customers of this site can find music they would enjoy playing; music that inspires them to practice and perform, spreading the beauty of classical music throughout their communities. After all, there is no such thing as too much good music!
Jared Andersen studied privately with Dan Chamberland in the Salt Lake City area before enrolling at the University of Utah, where he studied with Doug Wolf and George Brown. He graduated with a music education degree and taught music for several years. He also joined the military as a musician, serving in the 23rd Army Band in the Utah National Guard.
